UFC Moscow fighter involved in fatal 5 vehicle crash which left 2 dead
One of the participants of the first ever UFC event in Russia, lightweight Desmond Green was involved in a five-vehicle car crash, which left three injured and two dead on Saturday.
Green, 28, who has a 3-1 record inside the UFC octagon was scheduled to face knockout artist Mairbek Taisumov from Russia on September 15 in Moscow.

According to reports in local media, the American fighter lost control of his Dodge Durango on a highway in Davie, Florida, and collided with a tractor-trailer, causing an additional crashes with three sedans.
Two passengers of one of the sedans, 67-year-old Emelina Morfa and 76-year-old Emma Suarez Hernandez were killed in the crash, while the driver of vehicle, Mily Vita-Vega, was seriously hurt and is currently being treated at the local hospital.

The driver of the other sedan, as well as Green himself, suffered minor injuries. His Moscow fight has been put in jeopardy as police investigate the reason behind what caused the 28-year-old to lose control of the car.
New York State native Green stands 21-7 in professional MMA and trains in Florida.
