Bob Dylan’s epic 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue was named after Richard Nixon’s codename for the murderous and illegal bombardment of Indochina. It also means ‘the dropping of truth bombs’ in native American language. It may have been Dylan’s finest hour, but this week we commemorate an event six years earlier when Bob Dylan came to the Isle of Wight’s Festival of Music. Legendary journalist, editor, and broadcaster Bill Bradshaw has just released a new book about this historic musical event in 1969, so, we invited him into the studio to tell us more.

Makkah is the destination of every Muslim (2 close to 2 billion people) in their lifetime. The film “One Day in the Haram” looks at this annual pilgrimage through the eyes of the workers and has become one of the most-viewed British films ever with an audience of 30 million people and counting. Abrar Hussain’s next film “One Night in Al Aqsa” is about the third holiest shrine in Islam, set in Jerusalem. So, he came into the studio to tell us about both films and how he felt while making them.
