The battle for unit of account (E1383)
In this episode of the Keiser Report, Max and Stacy discuss the breathtakingly honest assessment of bitcoin by Congressman Brad Sherman of California. The congressman notes that the US derives its power because the dollar is the unit of account and so all trade must clear through the NY Fed. But bitcoin threatens this source of power. In the second half, Max interviews Rodolfo Novak of OpenDime about the admission from Sherman and what this suggests is coming for bitcoin in terms of challenging fiat.
