Ice Station Europe

As gas and electricity prices have surged, a growing number of citizens in Europe are blaming their governments for the sanctions imposed on Russia. While some people hope for warm weather and blankets for winter, others are looking for alternative energy sources.

“Now you must think how to make ends meet. I know people who used to pay €100 for heating, but now their bills are €500-600,” says Thomas Penn who, together with his family, moved to a village to make it through the rough times. They are starting to heat their home with wood, as many Europeans are doing as well. Why are eco-friendly energy sources not an option?
