360 photo tour of Russian Navy parade in St Pete available online

Russia's defense ministry has granted unlimited access to 360-degree photos of the impressive Navy Day celebrations, which saw some 50 combat ships and submarines taking part in the parade in St Petersburg.

The gallery of panoramic images offers a glimpse into the celebratory passage of warships and submarines of the Russian Navy on the last Sunday of July. 

The heavy nuclear-powered cruiser Peter the Great (the Pyotr Velikiy) as well as the world’s biggest nuclear submarine, the Dmitry Donskoy are among the vessels that can be seen in the virtual picture gallery.

St. Petersburg, Russia's 'northern capital,' hosted the main parade of Russia's Navy Day celebrations.

Organized in the waters of St Petersburg’s Neva river, as well as the port of Kronstadt, the large-scale events featured 50 combat ships and submarines, along with a 40 aircraft fleet of the air force.
